Thank You for Creating Your Online Membership Profile

Files-smThank you for visiting the AMOPS website and creating your online membership profile. A benefit of creating the online profile is that you will receive the AMOPS Weekly Update on a regular basis and be kept abreast of what’s going on in the Association.

As we progress through updating our website, we will be adding a log in feature for our membership and this will contain information that only our members will be granted access to.

Beginning this week, the log in button will be posted on the site and you will be able to log in using the user name and password that you created when you completed the membership profile.

Please help us to expand our network of members by encouraging your peers, colleagues and friends to also visit the site and create a profile.

Thank you again for your commitment to AMOPS. Please visit the website often and look for updates. If you have suggestions to make it better, please send them along.

AMOPS Committees

AMOPS Committees are Underway In the spirit of working together to make AMOPS great, we have begun working through committees. We have established the Membership Committee and the Education Committee. (Please see the website for a full listing of committee members.)

Under the leadership of COL David Towle, the Membership Committee met via telephone conference last week and the work of attracting and retaining members has begun. The first task at hand is to identify our osteopathic military students, residents and physicians. The Education Committee will meet via telephone Thursday, August 8 to begin the task of scheduling the topics and presenters for our Annual Meeting set for next May 1-4 in the Greater Chicago Area. Education Committee Chair COL Salvador Renteria is leading the charge on the Education Committee and is happy for volunteers to join us. Please mark your calendar for those dates in May and plan to join us. Details will be forthcoming. If you are interested in joining the Membership or Education Committee, you are welcome. Please email Stephanie Wilson at of your interest.
